We would like to exhibit all kind of secondary works at the Conference, in order to readers know what it's been doing in the Urantia community. So if you've got some writings, study aids, diagrams…whatever, and you want them to be exhibited and even sold, you'll have a place in the Conference venue!

From now on, we’ll put in our website all the information that attendees might need in their trip to Spain about flights, places to visit, and so on. We’ll be posting this information concerning the Conference and links of interest on this list too. Spain is worth a visit!

Just for starters, here come some suggestions:

  • Now (January 2009) this is a good time to book your travel. The closer the date, the more expensive might be your flight. You might find a good offer, because Conference dates are the week after Easter, low season in my country!
  • Anyway, if you decide to get to Spain during the Holy Week, that is, before the Conference, it could be a good idea to visit the biggest cities (such as Madrid or Barcelona) The Holy Week is a period when a lot of Spaniards travel (mainly the ones coming from the biggest cities), so I recommend you visit Madrid or Barcelona these days. Seville is pretty crowded during the Holy Week, because there are lots of people going for its famous processions. But, if you don’t mind crowds and want to see a sample of religious devotion in a Catholic style, this is a place to visit during the Holy Week.
  • There is a network of high-speed trains connecting Madrid to important cities such as Toledo, Seville, Cordoba, Barcelona and Malaga; this mean of transportation could be very useful to travel across Spain. You can see timetables and prices at http://www.renfe.es/horarios/english/index.html
  • Once in Malaga, even though you don’t want to travel long distances, there are cities nearby that are worth a visit. Seville is about 200 Km far (124 miles), Granada 130 Km (80 miles), Cordoba 154 Km (95 miles) About Granada I highly recommend its famous Alhambra; this is a “must” and you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to visit this important monument if you are near.
